The Pooginook story started at Yoorooga:
| 1912 | Culley and Taylor purchased the Yoorooga land from Sir Samuel McCaughey. |
| 1937 | October 1, Culley and Taylor dissolved the partnership and rams and ewes were drafted two ways to form the Wonga and Pooginook Merino Studs. |
| 1980 | The first Pooginook/Wonga ram and ewe sale held at Jerilderie Showgrounds. |
| 1981 | At the National Dubbo Ram Sale P/GK 9.20 sold for $30,000 (a world auction record price for a Peppin Merino) to Woodpark, Jerilderie. |
| 1982 | At Dubbo P/GK sold 6 Stud rams for the top average of $7944 and top price of $25,000 to Coonong Merino Stud, Urana. The ram was supreme exhibit at Dubbo. At the 100th Melbourne Sheep show P/GK took out most major trophies including the Lionel Weatherly and Supreme Champion Merino. |
| 1983 | Second year in succession P/GK won Supreme exhibit at Dubbo and Melbourne Shows with separate entries. |
| 1984 | At Dubbo P/GK won Supreme exhibit for the fourth time with P/GK 3.21. It sold to St. Quentin, Katanning for $20,000. The pen of five sale rams was awarded to P/GK for the fourth time. |
| 1986 | P/GK won Breeders Group at Deniliquin, Hay and Jerilderie Shows and Lionel Weatherly Trophy at Melbourne Show. P/GK Hugo Riverina Ram of the Year. |
| 1987 | A world record price of $50,000 for a half share in semen rights and possession of P/GK Cuthbert bought by One Oak Merino Stud, Jerilderie. |
| 1988 | C.R. Taylor and Sons purchased Neyliona. At the annual production sale in Jerilderie, 175 rams to average $2173. |
| 1989 | Wonga was purchased by the Taylor family. P/GK conducted its first embryo transfer programme using 78 donor ewes. Also artificially inseminated 6000 ewes. |
| 1990 | P/GK Long John 5.2 selected top performing provisional reference Merino sire for Riverina NSW sire evaluation at Hay. P/GK won Dubbo City Trophy. The top price at Dubbo was $30,000 for a ram purchased by Tahara Pastoral Co., Wagga. Six rams averaged $12,333. |
| 1991 | P/GK Bullet won Riverina Ram of the Year, Supreme exhibit at Melbourne, Hay and Jerilderie and Grand Champion at Dubbo. Five rams sold to $22,500 and averaged $11,000. |
| 1992 | P/GK Olympus won Riverina Ram of the Year, Supreme Exhibit at Hay and Champion Medium Wool at Jerilderie, Deniliquin and Hay. |
| 1993 | P/GK Woolpak won Supreme Merino at Jerilderie, Deniliquin and Reserve Grand Champion Ram at Dubbo. P/GK Caroline was Supreme Merino at Deniliquin and Jerilderie and Riverina Ewe of the Year. |
| 1994 | P/GK clients won and placed in ewe hogget trials at Karoonda, SA, Bookham, Condobolin, Boorowa, Hillston, Merrriwagga. First “One Stop P/GK Ram Sale”.Most successful ram sale in Australia, 27 stud rams to $12,000 average $3646 and 157 selected rams average $1270. |
| 1995 | P/GK clients won major ewe hogget competitions including Binalong, Bookham, Heathcote. Launched P/GK Wool Initiative. P/GK clients won Peppin Shaw, Plantagenet, WA Bookham, Nyabing ewe competitions. |
| 1996 | P/GK had the most successful Merino production sale in NSW. |
| 1997 | P/GK wool sold 300c/kg clean above market value at Sydney and Melbourne Wool Sales. Final offering Wonga rams. |
| 1998 | P/GK client wins random selection Mungindi Wether Trials. |
| 1999 | Two P/GK clients win 1st & 2nd in the random selection Mungindi National Wether Trials. Launch of Pooginook Collection. |
| 2002 | Pooginook's Dr Stan wins the Riverina Ram of the year. |
| 2002 | Hilston Wether Trial won by Kevin O'Callaghen from Griffith NSW. |

| 2007 | Paraway Pastoral Company Limited purchased Pooginook. |
| 2008 | Paraway Pastoral Company Limited purchased the adjoining property "Stud Park North". |
